Get to know me: <interests, skills, talents, passion, message>
And here is why:
I've been in the military for 12 years now and I've struggle with weight issues for as long as I can remember. I've played sports in high school and I've been a dedicated gym goer since been active duty, however I had zero knowledge/or dicipline on proper nutrition and what eating habits work best for me. It wasn’t until I was station in Virginia Beach that I discovered Crossfit and Paleo diet as a new foundation for diet and fitness. Then I was deployed to Afghanistan, where I am currently at, and I met another military member who is a bodybuilding competitor (who also recommended this site) that really open my eyes to the possibility of not only achieving my fitness goals but be the person inside and out that I always knew I could be. I’ve always had this image in my mind of what I’m suppose to be, but was never able to get there. He inspired me to make the transformation, and believe it was possible, and even with the rigorous schedule of deployment I made time to work on diet and fitness goals. As a result, I’ve seen significant changes in the last few months that I can only describe as unbelievable!!! I’ve received many compliments on my changing physique and many kudos for being so dedicated even while being deployed. Unfortunately I was unable to take any before or after photos, but nonetheless I’ve seen the changes, and I now look towards even better changes in the future. So with that being said I’m here to not only enlist in the help of others in achieving my top goal of fitness, but also to be surrounded by a community that endorses fitness and confidence and inspires us all to achieve our best. I definitely could see myself competing someday and I hope this community can help me get there. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to showcase my results, I look forward to meeting all of you soon!

Everyday that God blesses me with a new day. And for the friends and family that have supported through every endeavor in my life.

I accept the dare to step outside my comfort zone to do what I've never felt capable / able / worthy and here's what I'm going to do
Continue doing what I'm doing while being deployed and hopefully I'll be able to stay focus even through stressful times out here.
