MOMS & DADS... THIS GROUP IS FOR YOU!

Teach Your Children! Be Body Proud!

Children observe and adopt similar likes, dislikes and/or habits as their parents, caregivers, teachers & role models. Embrace this concept! Understand that by treating your body with respect, fueling it efficiently and in a healthy manner impacts and inspires youth, even your own children, to do the same. Along with Loving Your Body and Being Body Proud comes confidence, self love, self respect, better health, more energy and most importantly to the kids, a positive life role model.

We have heard countless stories about parents who adopt the Body Proud Lifestyle and are amazed to see their children choose healthy, fresh foods as snacks and request to exercise or be active rather than watch TV or play video games.

Adults are always a role model to children so embrace that responsibility... Love Your Body! Be Body Proud!! You will benefit greatly... and...Your children will THANK YOU!

Please share your body proud inspirational success stories!

Below is a great excerpt from Emily Marshall 's Body Proud Profile:

"As a stay at home mother of 3 active sons, I feel it is important to be an example to them of what it means to take care of our bodies. Not only through eating the right foods, but also through exercise. Exercising and eating well also helps me to feel better physically and emotionally and provides me with more confidence in who I am as a person.

"I believe that beauty is projected from the inside out. Whether you are a working mother, stay at home, or a single mother, if you have confidence in yourself and how you feel, you are more likely to succeed in your endeavors and will be much happier and satisfied with life. I feel I am a better mother because I take care of myself.

As a busy mom to a toddler, plus working full time and also squeezing in family time, it can be tough to find the balance!  I find for me, working out first thing in the morning unsures that it gets…Continue

As a stay at home mom, I dont' have the time, or desire, to commute to the gym to get a good workout. And so, two years ago I chose to use BeachBody programs everyday at home. Since we live in a…Continue

You are right, Angel! It is definitely a change in our lifestyle. It does take effort, time and discipline, but it's very worth it, don't you think? ;)

Being a mom or a dad is a change in your lifestyle. You make time for your family, occupation, and your workout routine. That takes effort, time, and discipline.

I have been doing Insanity for over 3 weeks now and just finished a 3 day cleanse with Shakeology and I am down a few lbs! WOOHOO!! Insanity is such a killer workout but so worth it!

We got the toy dumbells from Amazon :) They play music! Super cute!!

I just got the 30 day shred in the mail and I can't wait to try it!! I will probably alternate it with the Insanity program. I will probably get back on the P90x after I finish the Insanity cycle. Hopefully by then the new one will be out. There is a P90 Next coming out and I can't wait!

Gloria what is the sleep sense program???

rock on mrs. maam -- after you finish that course and boost your confidence and strength try the P90X -- if I wasnt bodybuilding it's like bootcamp all over again for me -- I like it and reccomended it to cats at my job -- a lady at my gym does it after her yoga and jillian diet and she got strong and ripped (for achick that is) I also like the insanity program -- if you scale the weights for yourself both are excellent to incorporate later -- stay easy and congrats on your first steps toweards success!!

LOL!! We already got our kid toy dumbells! My husband is another gym freak as well so of course we had to get them. Right now I am working out in the morning before I go to work and my husband then heads to the gym after work so we both have time to go without having to leave the baby in care. It is very hard because some mornings I struggle to get up because I only got a few hours of sleep. We are battling through these things and really trying to stick to a good schedule. I love the gym myself but getting there right now is not too easy. I love to workout at home as well so I am back on the beachbody grind. Just started the Insanity set and will be mixing it in with Chalene Extreme as well. I have always been a fan of these and I was doing P90X right before I got pregnant.

fitting in workouts is a will and drive like you've gotta purpose -- not everyone enjoys the gym as a hobby so you have to find something that motivates you -- Time -- good luck with that -- my wife in the last 3 years has lost a total of 125 - 135 pounds after our son was born but it wasnt easy -- it wa a lot of getn it were can fit it - no workout partners cause the first couple years witht he kids is always hectic between our work schedules and school an dwhat what - I know for sure she dedicated this year up to now 1 hour everyday right after work and we use a drop in day care for 5.50 - no excuses cause she aint sat down yet and sh'e still spinning her wheels -- for me -- I banffg it out right after work for 1hour10 min. then shower and straight to school for 4 hours after a 10 hiour shift that's hectic -- good luck with your goals and keep us all posted -- PS -- put your kid in a bike stroller and pedal away or run with them in a carriage -- dress em up in sweat bands and what not and take ophotos -- LOL
